Global Industry: Kellanova sells BiscoMisr stake to HSA

Bremerhaven. (bm) BiscoMisr is the largest biscuit company in Egypt and one of the five largest cookie companies in the Middle East and Africa. Founded 1957 as «Egyptian Company for Foods», 86 percent of the shares were acquired 2015 by the former Kellogg Company, from which Kellanova emerged 2023. Kellanova’s independent business life was/is short-lived. As is well known, the cereal maker and Mars Inc. agreed in August on the takeover of Kellanova by Mars. Now Kellanova will sell its entire stake in BiscoMisr to HSA Group – Hayel Saeed Anam Group + Company – based in Dubai (UAE). Other topics of the week:
