Stuttgart. (swr) Rund 300 Zusatzstoffe sind derzeit in der EU zugelassen und müssen auf der Verpackung angezeigt werden. Strikte Regeln gelten für unverpackte Ware, zum Beispiel beim Bäcker. Nur wenige Lebensmittelfarb- und Zusatzstoffe sind in Brot und Brötchen erlaubt. Ein Praxistest der ARD-Sendung «plusminus» Mitte Januar hat nun ergeben, dass nur etwa jede fünfte Verkäuferin bei Brot und Gebäck Auskunft darüber geben kann, was tatsächlich in den Produkten enthalten ist. Zudem sollen Stichproben der Lebensmittelkontrolle ergeben haben, dass etwa ein Drittel der angebotenen Erzeugnisse gefärbt war.
